A former liquor store has been found guilty of selling to a minor. The Toledo Free Press reports Nicholas Thompson, 38, was found guilty Tuesday afternoon for selling a bottle of vodka to a teenager at Foxx Liquor Store on Dorr Street. The bottle was sold to a 17-year-old friend of Brian Hoeflinger last February. Hoeflinger was killed in an alcohol-related car crash later that night. Thompson was sentenced to six months in jail, the most severe penalty for the misdemeanor charge.
