Rascal Flatts should rename themselves Rapping Flatts.
The country trio appeared alongside legendary group Boyz II Men in the TBS series Drop the Mic, and both acts showed off their rapping skills.
“We did the drop the mic with them. So we rap battled them, which was scary,” Jay DeMarcus told CMT’s Cody Alan about the episode.
Lead singer Gary LeVox mocked the experience by joking he and the Flatts “dropped it like it was hot.”
“You know? We didn’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings, but we feel a few feelings may have been hurt,” he added with a laugh.
